Sobre o livro
Built to live on coffee tables, not in camera rolls, Travel Job is a 200-plus-page photo zine packed with a trove of on-the-road imagery that drops you into the in-between moments of commercial shoots. From coral reefs in the South Pacific and glacier-blue ice fields to cobblestoned Andean lanes, neon-soaked city corners, cathedral spires, and windswept desert dunes, every frame was grabbed while I was working as the digital tech or lighting wrangler - basically the crew member glued to a tether cable while the client squints at the monitor.
Shot 99 percent on an iPhone and graded on the fly, these pictures celebrate the seconds between takes: the quiet streets at dawn before call-time, the locals who wander into frame, and the graphic textures most crews race past on the way to set. Think street photography meets production diary—proof that the “job” shots we never show the client often say more about place and process than the hero images on the mood board.
Alongside the photographs you’ll find a short intro (thanks, Dad, for the career interrogation) and a handful of production notes that decode where, why, and how some scenes were discovered.
Flip through for color, context, and a reminder that the best souvenirs are the frames you make when nobody’s watching.
