A photographic journey through the majesty and impact that is Yellowstone National Park in all it's Winter glory.
Within this work you will be taken from contacts with the Geysers and thermal areas that are so typical of the area but in conditions that few see, together with glimpses of how the landscape changes and copes with the severe conditions.
Further to this though is a sometimes intimate contact with the wildlfie that abounds there in the Winter. Bison, Bald Eagles, Pronghorn, Coyotes and Elk provide a supporting act to a finale of a Wolf Kill on the Madison River at Seven Mile Bridge.
Neil Owen has many years of experience in landscapes and natural history photography in Europe and the American West, collected here in his first book on the winter-scapes of Yellowstone National Park . These images reflect the unique opportunity afforded during visits to Yellowstone’s outstanding areas of natural beauty in its beautiful and ever changing winter dress.
