Sobre o livro
EXCERPT:
"Columbus Editorial Society Limited founders Jasmine Wright and Morgan Burke published this lookbook with several intentions, first of which was to formally feature the first organization of its kind and publish the story of how the first creative collaboration brand was initiated and developed. As similar organizations spin off, it grows increasingly valuable to recognize the Society's history, mission, and vision.
Second, we intended to feature all (or at least most) of the talented artists who gifted us their time, their money, and most phenomenally, their trust over the first six months of our journey and the exceptional work that came of that. We have been repeatedly amazed at the respect we receive from artists looking to join the Society and at the descriptions of the impact the Society has had on existing members. It is your willingness to create and the profoundness of your work which drives all of this onward.
Third, we intend to continue to raise the standard of what it means to connect artists, to inspire creativity, and to build a brand by originating the first monthly publication featuring Columbus, Ohio models and photographers. With this premier semiannual lookbook, we hope to showcase excellence and variety, just two of the traits our business is built upon, and create a visual reference for the upcoming monthly publications planned for 2017.
Finally, we intend to give gratitude to the supports who have carried us to our current position in just 6 months;
To our parents, Stephanie Tahy, Paige and Brian Burke, for their unwavering belief in this 'crazy' idea that we could change an entire community and build a life off of $3,000 AirBnB's."
