In 1989, I switched from the chanting sounds of a convent college to the Ozzy Ozbourne tunes of fine-dining kitchens. This sharp turn set the tone for the career that followed. I took a chef's knife, a Swiss accent, and a pair of Denim on a binge through 6 careers in culinary art, publishing, entertainment, tech & human sciences.

My journey may read a bit like an early draft of a Quentin Tarantino script. But for me, my career wasn't about the roles I filled. It was about a quest for innovation. I admit that I would make for a terrible guidance counselor. But I can assure you that I learned a few things about the imaginative potential of ambiguity, the rich possibilities of uncertainty, and some (ugly) truths of creative transformation along my way.

Asking myself the same question I asked myself 30 years ago when I studied at a convent college: «Where’s the fun to be found?» And while I may not have all the answers, I have an idea about where to start the quest.
