Heidi comes from a family with roots in the Arts.
A sensitive and experienced photographer/artist, Heidi gives a feeling of place, with creative images evoking the feeling of the moment. She loves the unexpected, and is challenged by the yet untold story. Her travels began in Europe, and soon began spending time in different parts of Mexico and South America. She returned later to explore unsettled regions in Chiapas, and translate and photograph for Los Medicos Volodores, {The Flying Doctors}in Sonora and Baja. She is interested in indigenous peoples and their ceremony, and has visited temples of the Maya in Mexico and Guatemala, and spent time in Inca lands, in Cuzco, Peru and Bolivia. She lived for some time in Chile, and visited Bahia, in the north of Brazil. More recently she has spent time photographing in Cuba, and Haiti.
Heidi’s photography tells stories that make you feel the rhythm of our planet and helps us understand it better. She has a bright eye for artistic detail.
