I have been in love with my country all my life.
I have been in love with words, in crafting and dancing with them, and I have been in love with making pictures of the world as my heart sees it.
The mystic in me finds joy in exploring beyond the obvious, beyond the labels attached to everything before me, and documenting what appears to me.
I love to hear the whisper of the water in the night, moving back and forth outside my door, and the songs carried down the wind from far away. I love to step outside and catch these songs from far away, then weave them into a korowai (cloak) of words and pictures.
My mother gave me the gift of words, while my father gifted me seeing and a love for the natural world.
My journey has taken me into a place of wanting to express and to share.
