From the series "Feeling of the city"

„Streetlife Istanbul“ is a photographic homage to this city and its people. To the simple, the familiar, the everyday and the dignity that people radiate. The series tells of encounters, glances and gestures that are often inconspicuous and yet make up the heart of this metropolis.
These are images full of closeness, openness and curiosity. They show an Istanbul that cannot be found on postcards, but becomes visible between and among people – in a shared smile, in a spontaneous movement, in the noise of the streets that never quite come to rest.
This work is not a portrait in the classical sense, but a gaze upon life itself: unposed and authentic.
