In June of 2007 my Mom came to California for a visit and she brought her friend Eunice along for the ride. It was a glorious fun-filled week...!



They stayed for almost eight days - during which time; we tried almost every restaurant in LA, strolled along the "walk of fame" on Hollywood Blvd., hung out in Santa Monica on the pier and the Third St. Promenade, got manicures/pedicures and our eyebrows threaded.



We went to Glen Ivy Hot Springs in Corona; went to the Long Beach Aquarium, had drinks and dinner on the the Queen Mary, went on a 3-mile hike in the Hollywood Hills, walked around Universal Studios, drove up to the Hollywood sign and went site-seeing over to Paramount Studios. We went to see a play that had been turned into a movie and enjoyed the joyous sounds of the Brazilian Summer Fest at the Ford Theatre...not necessarily in that order!
