Sobre o livro
The sky is an intense shade of blue.
The crisp air is almost brittle.
Footsteps are soft and muffled.
A breeze whisks flakes of white into the air.
Your senses seem to be magnified.
If you want to truly enjoy life in Wisconsin you must learn to embrace the winter.
That means learning to love the snow.
Children love to laugh and run in the snow. It seems like a gift from nature. But time has a way of chipping away at the joys of youth. Soon we may feel, as Poet Maya Angelou said,
“Nature has no mercy at all. Nature says, ‘I'm going to snow. If you have on a bikini and no snowshoes, that's tough. I am going to snow anyway.’"
So, what’s the trick to enjoying the snow? Simple. Don’t go out in a bikini.
