Sobre o livro
Photo trips to Africa always seem to feature lucky sightings of one particular animal or another. Africa IV was undoubtedly the trip for lion. Up close and personal, these beautiful beasts were wary, yet stunning. We saw many. The dominance they display – by just existing – is inspiring and intimidating.
New on this trip were the riverine environments of northeastern Namibia and the inland delta wetlands of Botswana. The people who live there and the wild animals that occupy the same places are extraordinary. The color that birds display, the noise that hippopotamus make, and the look of a leopard’s icy stare are all etched in memory – both our own and the camera’s.
Here, then, are a few to share with you. Enjoy.
