Sobre o livro
Sharon and Byron Cotter have 2 passions, photography and Travel. In 2009, they took a trip to Egypt with an instructor in Egyptology and satisfied both.
While the trip focused on the antiquities, the most fascinating part was people watching. It is a world of extreme contrasts. Cairo is a city of nearly 20 million people, incredible traffic with donkeys, camels, and goats sharing the road. In Villages, you see people working as they have for thousands of years, but many of the houses have satellite TVs and people are talking on cell phones.
The book is nearly 300 pages long, and contains 550 photos which are evenly split between the antiquities of Egypt and current life in this fascinating country.
