Award-winning Australian travel photographer Mick Porter became fascinated with a 300-year-old book of Samurai wisdom known as The Hagakure, translated as In the Shadow of the Leaves. This photobook takes inspiration both from the stunning beauty of Japan's autumn leaf season as well as tracing six prominent themes from the Hagakure as they appear in contemporary Japanese life.
