Sobre o livro
Mrs. Wentzell's second grade students from the Frog Pond Elementary school have always loved Nola and get very excited when she is around. One day, while reading outside, Nola was lounging by the school's pond. One the students asked if Nola had a dog house. The answer was no; she did not have one. The idea was born.
This book illustrates the entire "how to" process that the students experienced as building Nola's dog house. The children interviewed Mrs. Rice., made illustrations, made a plan within a budget and developed templates. While building many educational experiences were developed in the area of math, technology, reading and social sciences.
