Sobre o livro
Phantasmagoria is an unusual blend of mediums transcending from light hearted musings to journeys into the darkest corners of mind. Be prepared for a fantastic sequence of haphazardly associative imagery that will make you feel as if you had viewed a dream on print. Constantly changing scenes that will lay you in sunlit fields of grass giving you cause to revel joyfully in the pleasure of being and then lower you into the belly of hate and despair.
What other have said:
- I can't help but laugh at his incredible creative imagination. That's a "catchy story." With the fairy hanging on the wall, seems relevant to the present situation of this "country."
- His photos are beautiful, amazing. The best part, for me, is that these are things I would never have seen by myself.
- Great piece of writing. I sensed the alignment between how he feels inside and the words he wrote. He became one with the stories he wanted to tell. How freeing that had to be for him, and how marvelous for the reader!
- Eh, if I take that freaky book jacket off of it, it will cover up that nasty stain of my coffee table right nicely.

Sobre o autor
Mark Beckemeyer spent his childhood in a small Kansas town where, between great (and occasionally exaggerated) adventures, he dabbled in art and the written word. His work in these fields was often touted on by his teachers but their kind words and encouragement to develop his talents were laid to the side in favor of forays into the vast open countryside. Muddy rivers , and oceans of wheat and corn eclipsed the pen and paper, and an accent into a giant oak took preference to the canvas and brush. As a young adult he discovered that his income could be supplemented by selling his art work and through the years he sold several paintings. Later in life his artistic talents turned to photography , and many were used in various publications and web sites. He also discovered digital art and was taken with the medium. From river to paper to word processor, and tree to brush to digital pen. Beckemeyer now displays his unique style in this first collection of art, story, and prose.
