Sobre o livro
inspiration...photographed and written with Love and Compassion.
This book is gently graced with photographs of beautiful nature taken during my global disaster relief work and medical missions - tsunami relief in Thailand, medical mission in Costa Rica, attending to orphaned children of AIDS in Africa, and Katrina hurricane relief work in Houston, Texas. Some were taken during times of much needed decompression.
What is fascinating is that most of the photographs were taken in the midst of disaster and chaos. Yet the serenity of the photographs subtly remind us that contemplation of Nature is a beautiful way to remain calm in the eye of the storm. These meditative sunsets, waterfalls, rock formations, flowers and trees are what I hold on to in the core of my mind and heart during the humanitarian relief work. They help me stay balanced and centered during times when serenity and compassion during traumatic times are my main spiritual healing tools. I included Nature photographs taken in the USA after mission work and during decompression times. These snapshots of Nature bring inner peace to my mind. The more inner peace, the better I can serve others as a healer.
I integrated quotes that have served to strengthen my spirit towards love and compassion during the toughest of times. This book is my humble gift to the world from my soul.
May you bask in the beauty of peace, hope and love, no matter what the circumstance, through your Compassionate Nature.
Note: The proceeds from this book will be used to buy water purifiers for Uganda. 3 million people die yearly from waterborne illnesses. Healthy and safe water for the world is an emergent global cause. Let us raise awareness, uplift this cause, and be a part of helping decrease mortality and help save lives. Thank you to all. May your Compassion lead you to the path of Love.
