Sobre o livro
In the streets of New York inspiration comes easy. The streets themselves have become an endless canvas for artists to tag, paste, sticker, stencil, and spray, their way up and down the block.
Shared in this book are a collection of my photos from the New York City streets, showcasing the talent and great lengths a street artist takes in order to leave his or her mark.
Never in my wildest dreams would i ever thought I would become excited when i peer down the city block and spy new scaffolding or construction zones, hoping that it becomes a new breeding ground for new forms of street art. In a way I almost started to develop a heightned sense for hunting out street art like i was on some sort of adventure. At no point can i now walk down a city street and not scan every mailbox, fire hydrant, street sign, alley, stoop, and even the holy grail of them all an abandoned building in search of art.
After seeing beautiful art go up one day and get destroyed the next, I felt the need to share with everyone what I'm fortunate to see everyday living and working in New York City. Hopefully i make it in time to get the shot.
Thanks are in order for mother nature, who on occasion decided that it would be a great day to explore. Lastly a very special thanks goes out to all the street artists who made this book a possibility and continue to inspire me, keep me on my toes, and challenge me to not only find your work but continue to excite me in the process.
