Gavin Jackson is an Irish born Australian, currently based in Canberra.

Gavin is a practicing visual artist and student, studying at the Australian National University School of Art, in the Photomedia department.

As a conceptual artist, Gavin's interests range from gender, identity and culture to history, memory and place. Drawing much inspiration from cinema and literature, Gavin often works within the realms of constructed portraiture, narrative and documentary photography.
