My name is Amber Ortolano, I was born in Honolulu, Hawaii in 1996, and have been photographing since the age of 11. I have traveled across the United States throughout most of my life - from Hawaii to Kentucky to Michigan to New York. Blessed by the current technology driven world, my access to the internet has allowed me to connect with magazines, blogs, and other artists.

I am passionate about photography and film-making, and I revel in experimenting with colors, light, and layers within my art. Fascinated by the inner workings of our mind, I often explore the unknown and the illusion of images our eyes create. I strive to tell a story, a narration of a small part of someones life; even if it is just for a second. I think a lot of my photographs are connected in a way; they all have the same story, but each time I take a new photograph, a different part of the story comes alive.
