I am a mixed California native with Cherokee citizenship, and blood relatives who migrated from England, Scotland, Germany, Nigeria, Ireland,Jamaica, Guatemala, El Salvador, and Mexico. I am interested in contributing positively towards the advancement of Urban Development and Consumer Affairs. I am a licensed real estate broker with approx ten years working as a realtor. I am a proud mom 2 teenagers in California.

During my undergraduate studies, I engaged in documenting the challenges faced On tribal reservations and neighborhoods where affordable housing exists in California. My work included publishing a photo picture book, "The Reservation” about a particular families housing conditions and resources on a Paiute Indian Reservation in 2010. This project, along with my master's thesis, underscored the housing and environmental challenges faced by socioeconomically challenged populations where affordable housing exist.
