when i am not creating books i am usually home solving the world's hunger and nuclear problems. when i am not doing that, i am walking my dog and stalking stalkers in my neighborhood and keeping the police on their toes. otherwise, i spend a lot of time painting intimate portraits of my neighbors through a high powered telescope, sewing costumes for lonely pets, and creating elaborate, but inedible, cakes in the shape of 16th century historical buildings. and in my spare time i write fiction and star in a sitcom about my life.
