I grew up in West Shokan, New York and now live in Castleton, NY. My writing has appeared in the Daily Freeman, Kaatskill Life and the Roswell Literary Review, and I wrote Education: Reflecting our Society (2002, 2004, 2006).

I graduated from Onteora Central School. I have a BA in US History from State University College at Oneonta, MPA in policy analysis from Rockefeller College at University at Albany, SUNY and a PhD in educational administration, also from University at Albany. My research interests include history of education, educational technology, learning styles, assessment, and arts-in-education.

Besides writing, I like to garden, read, watch movies, and play with computers. Most important...i'm crazy about animals!
