I wrote poetry in high school and threw it in the trash. My friend Tracey picked it out of the trash and made me an album with it. But I wanted adventure, not poetry, so I became one of 400 female FBI agents back in 1986. Then my first love - writing - drew me back to poetry and songwriting which is what makes my heart sing.
