I have been working with children and families for over 25 years, both in New York and Massachusetts. Over the years, the experiences these families have endured have shaped who I am today. So often their cries and their stories go unheard. As an author and photographer I wish to share these stories so that others may hear their cries and perhaps one day be able to lend a hand. If nothing else, at least be able to show empathy to those going through trying times.
