Lorne is a Canadian of Scottish and American ancestry. He has published a number of books of poetry, with a new collection forthcoming in Fall 2025. His essays have been published across Canada, the U.S. and U.K. His essay 'Today is the Frontier' won the Jon Whyte Memorial Essay Prize.
