I use photography as a means of self-expression - I make pictures for myself, to identify with hidden qualities of my character, to better understand my reality, and to express my interpretation of the world around me. I've always been drawn to the creative and visual arts, I started out sketching in a sketch book and then started painting. Once high school hit I started doing photography. Photography gave me a clearer understanding of myself. I was able to make people happy and beautiful.

I photograph people in their environments because I am curious of what lays behind their eyes. So much emotion can be unveiled when the subject is open to letting me in to where they have been and where they hope to go. My photographs are most successful I believe, when they not only show beauty, but also evoke a sense of darkness and sexuality. I like my photographs to give a feeling of looking at a hidden world we don't normally see. I try to use light, color/tone and composition to enhance this
