Recipient of a 2015 Davis Projects for Peace Prize, Sounds of Social Change (SSC) is a student-initiated, Bard Trustee Leader Scholar (TLS) project aimed at teaching and mentoring young musicians living throughout the world. Through direct collaboration with youth, we initiate positive change within high-risk communities. We are a chamber music ensemble bringing a societal perspective to our role as performers, teachers and imagineers of classical music’s future.
