Hi, I have always enjoyed reading and writing and have for years wrote poems, short stories, and yes, even started a novel or two. But over the years of going to college, having a family and being a teacher, I have let this creative part of me stall some.
After losing my Grandpa a year ago, I wrote this as a short story to remember good times with him and then had it put into this book format to give to my Grandma for their 62nd anniversary.
Hopefully, I will now be able to take many of my other writings and do the same with them as well....some are personal, but many are children's topics.
I have been married over 20 years to my husband Jeff and we have 4 children: two sons ages 20 and 16 and two daughters ages 7 and 5. I am currently finishing my 11th year of teaching, 10 of which has been 2nd grade. Needless to say, I have plenty of resources from which to draw from to write!
