Timothy Griffith, born in St. Louis, began painting in 1968. He briefly attended the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and graduated from the Milwaukee Institute of Art & Design in 2020.
Griffith’s creations blend styles, reflecting art’s evolution. Inspired by past aesthetics, he infuses his work with a modern twist, creating contemporary masterpieces. His works feature a sense of place, mood, drama and emotion, influenced by Romanticism, Surrealism, & American Regionalism. His recent work adopts a Precisionism, reminiscent of O’Keeffe’s.
