Sobre o livro
Medellín is a symbol of hope. Once notorious for its violent drug cartel, today's metropolis is a place transformed—dubbed "City of Eternal Spring” for its micro-climate in Colombia's Aburrá Valley. The sequential poems, photographs and short stories in this collection tell of love and grief, struggle and transformation. They invite us to honour the gaps that bind us.
This book is a fundraiser for the benefit of refugees displaced by armed conflict, climate change, or human rights violations. All proceeds will support charities and sponsorship groups in Canada, or refugee causes in other countries based on need. No expenses will be recovered by the author.
Medellín was first published in April 2017 and later revised in this edition.
