Vilhjálmur Sigurðsson holds a BS degree in Business Administration and a professional certificate (Journeyman´s certificate) in Prepress Technology/Graphic Media. He studied Photography at Derby College of Higher Education (now Derby University) in Derby, UK 1979-1980 and at Art Center College of Design, Pasadena, California, USA in 1985. For 20 years he was Head of the Philatelic Department of Iceland Post Ltd.
