The Giwafu Design Guidebook is a publication born out of the RISD Wintersession 2025 Travel Course to Japan, led by Junko Yamamoto (RISD Architecture). It compiles the unique forms and design elements that RISD and Brown University students identified as distinctive to Japanese culture during their travels.
