“Worn Hands” documents life inside a mechanic shop. Through a photo book, sound recordings, and framed prints, I observed the lives of automotive technicians as well as the often overlooked labour that supports modern society in a major way. Technicians are key to everyday life, yet the job receives little to no attention and is currently facing a huge decline in youth entering this trade.
