Volume 2 - Over twenty three days in September and October 2009 D and LM Bibby walked the Snowman Trek to the Lunana district in the northwest of Bhutan, the most mountainous country in the world. A trek of over three hundred and fifty kilometres across eleven high passes, the Snowman Trek is one of the most remote, challenging and breathtakingly beautiful treks in the Himalayas.



This volume covers the second half of the Snowman Trek from Laya through the Lunana district to Chozo and out to the trail head at Nikka Chhu. The journey through Bhutan continues with a visit to the capital, Thimphu, and concludes at the Tiger’s Nest: the awe-inspiring Taktsang monastery.
