During 2007-2008, Kathryn Faulkner attended various lectures around UCL and secretly made a pinhole photograph and a sound recording of each lecture.



In this book the photographs and tightly edited soundtracks are brought together, both representing the essence of the original experience.

Kathryn Faulkner is an artist who currently lives and works in London and Italy. Her work negotiates photography, video and sound to explore what it feels like to live in a temporal world. Most works are the result of collaborative projects that examine certain activities such as reading, walking, meditating, listening, and an attempt to articulate how we consciously perceive time.
