Sobre o livro
They loved it - they lived it - they were good at it!
These girls, now women, joined forces as players and sisters to turn, arguably, a mediocre collegiate softball program into one of the nation's elite.
This book looks at their 4 years together and how they worked and used their passions for the game to excite a college, a community and youth of the midwest to the game of yellowball.
"What do you call softball - played without passion? They call it baseball!"

Sobre o autor
I have been an amateur photographer for over 25 years. My first focus was the natural world around me and those candid shots of family and friends that will forever be my "Moments in Time". Memories and experiences that weave the fabric of who I am. More recently - my photographic eye has been put to use recording those sporting passions of softball players throughout the region. Selfishly I use the camera as a way to remove me - the overbearing father/coach - from the "heat" of the competition, reduce my stress level at gametime while still experiencing the thrill of the games and watching these athletes live their dreams. The tears that well in a parents eyes when I give them a "captured memory" of their athlete is the most glorious feeling of all. Most people don't understand the thrill I get from capturing that perfect shot or how I can use my understanding of the game as a coach to place myself in the right position for that shot. Either way it is my dream - my reality.
