This book was put together primarily for use by forensic death investigation and law enforcement personnel. Given the number of medications on the market that have all too similar names, this small, quick reference book will provide investigators immediate reference to the general use of a given medication. Included are both "brand" and generic names in alphabetical order. Medications are listed in the left column of each page and a short description of the usage on the right. All the common narcotic base medications listed in this book are included on a single page at the back of the medications section. A glossary of common medical terms is included as a reference for spelling purposes. This book contains only the most common prescription medications and medical terminology and is by no means a comprehensive list.
