Sobre o livro
This book contains nine poems (four of which are based off of the poet's children) end notes, and a page of philosophy questions and poetics. Unexpectedly broken rhyme structure, irony, absurdity, pop culture references, and just the right amount of farting references (two) bring humour to the poetry. You will laugh along with the children to whom you read.
The most risqué poem is about a genius baby lacking enough life experience to understand that just because his mother trips over his Lego blocks and dies, doesn't mean that he needs to hide the evidence so that he is not blamed for her death, which definitely means that he does not need to go to such extremes as cutting off her legs and arms and grinding them up into a meal to serve to the rest of the family, after depositing her body into a vat of cement. And it rhymes, so it's light-hearted, you see!
It is a book kids will appreciate more and more as they grow up.
