Emmie Williams is a photographer who has been living in Queens, New York for the past two years. She mainly works with portraiture, both of people and of the city. Much of her inspiration to photograph comes from the idea of capturing life. Other inspirations include New York City (past & present); typography and etymology; the work of e.e. cummings, Arthur Rimbaud, and Pablo Neruda; and A College of Magics by Caroline Stevermer. She is also a writer. She is nineteen and working toward a BFA at St. John's University.
