Sobre o livro
Master of Landscape Architecture Final Project at Kansas State University
Project Summary
Transit dependents or people who possess more of a need for public transit, constitute only 25% of the United States population. This project presents strategies to expand the market by modeling a system in a non-dependent community, Lee’s Summit. Public transportation systems improve economic and community vitality, air quality and reduce gasoline consumption (Metro Transit- St. Louis, 2010). This project creates a vision promoting smart growth and a sustainable future, ultimately acting as a model for other non-dependent Kansas City communities.
