On the corner of SE 30th and Harrison in Portland, Oregon there is a large brick and stone chapel surrounded by attractively landscaped grounds. Now in its 84th year, the building is a beauty. It is the oldest of all LDS chapels in the area. This is the story of how this building came to be, and the people who were involved.
