Inspired by the embalmed figures in "Le Catacombe dei Cappuccini," Palermo, the artists (author) has looked further afield to connect a spirit within the figures to what may have once been a part of a life experience in the City. Images extracted from tree trunks lining the city streets predict such a relationship as a seed germ from older times, and suitable images are extracted and refreshed digitally as an artistic expression.
