This book is a chromatic journey, that is, it is a journey guided by color. Beginning with sunrise in the foothills of the Himalayas it is as if we are carried through a single day in India not determined to a single location but able to experience the vastness of the land and many disparate locations harmonized through the different tones of the day: the soft blues of dawn, golden streaks of day break, fervent greens of afternoon, the mahoganies of dusk.
