Erasmo Jorge born January 19, 1948, I'm an artist that work on abstraction painting, Mixed media abstract painting is my line of works, I have been living in US since 1962, I degree in painting in Art Student League in New York City. A contemporary painter of the Abstraction/Povera school of art, he incorporates the style of this movement, finding his own vision the traces of which can be seen in the details of his work. His work evolves from the abstract expressionism school of such artist as Jackson Pollock, Franz Klein, Robert Motherwell, Jasper Johns, Cy Twombly, Ed Rush and Marcel Duchamp. He is fascinated with mechanics of the creative process with blending colors and textures in order to discover the insinuations of his imagination. Anyone familiar with his personality and his artistic aims can appreciate the manner in which he uncovers form.
