Gallery 100 presents, Bent Realities, a group, BFA exhibition featuring graduating seniors: Spencer Brown, Roxana Derakhshani, Gabriela Gomez, Meliza Meraz, Gregory Simoncic, and Deidra West. The artists are well known for their unbridled expression and unique take on our world. Representing a rare mixture of traditional and contemporary styles of sculpture, the artists utilize materials from wood to metal, plastic, and even light constructing their vision with high craft or spontaneity. Many of the works exhibited, inspired by familial, societal, political, and environmental ties, evoke intellectual responses to design, humor, and the value of understanding.
