Sobre o autor
Raised in North Carolina, Nico began his self-study of photography at age 13 using an old Minolta camera with black & white film in his middle school darkroom. Though his creative process is now digital, he still relies on his knowledge from the days of film and darkroom to his create art. Nico’s passion for travel and the outdoors has led him into challenging situations around the world and in a variety of cultures – from documenting endangered mountain gorillas in the Congo to balancing precariously above the terraced hillsides of Machu Picchu for the perfect sweeping panoramic image – he does what it takes to get the shot.
