Sweet custard scrunched between strawberry sponge layers. Thick, milky vanilla cream draped over it and gently spilling off the sides. Topped with a red, plump strawberry and white powdered sugar sprinkled carefully on top. This, my friend, is a sweet treat.

No matter where you come from or how old you may be, we all enjoy sweet treats. Sweet treats are a universally loved guilty pleasure and they are also a form of showing affection as well as celebration. We give the ones we love cake on their birthdays, chocolates on valentines day, and a bit of candy to brighten up their day. Sweets treats bring us together and make the world go round.

I decided to photograph sweets because they make me happy and I wanted to convey my feelings of happiness and my love for sweets through my photographs. My goal is to make the audience drool when they see my vibrant images of desserts and of course, make them feel as delighted as I do when I see desserts.
