Sobre o livro
In this "Photobook", the effects of climate change are modeled into computer graphic images of twenty different animals currently inhabiting New York State. The animals are re-designed to survive the different challenges of their changing environments based on scientific data and publications.
Some animals are already adapted perfectly to climate change effects; they have played the exact cards necessary to win evolution's upcoming lottery. Most animals have not, so life as we know it today will likely cease to exist soon.
But, we must also keep in mind that the "game" is not all that straightforward at all—the conditions are constantly changing, and so are the adaptations that Earth's animals must adopt to survive. So, given that we are determined enough to recognize climate change and take action, who's to say that it's too late for us to change the rules again?
