Dreaming is a state of mind, that even in this highly technological times, has stayed a mystery. For centuries scientists have investigated what function dreams have for both our minds and bodies, without much progress.
Early civilisations believed dreams where some kind of messages from gods and spirits, but in the 1800’s century, scientists started to observe dreams as the window to our unconsciousness. There’s hundreds of different theories to why we are awake in an unconscious world when we’re asleep in our reality.
